Rahul Purini articulated that Crunchyroll's strategy transcends mere content delivery; it's about acknowledging the evolving role of entertainment in people's lives. He noted that for a significant portion of fans, particularly among Gen Z and Gen Alpha, anime has become more than just a pastime—it's a fundamental aspect of their personal and social identity. This has led to a 3.5-fold increase in total watch time, a doubling of minutes watched per viewer, and an average daily engagement of over 60 minutes. Similarly, Thailand has witnessed a fourfold surge in viewership since the launch of its localized service, cementing its position as a global leader in anime engagement.
Furthermore, Crunchyroll is preparing to unveil approximately 40 new simulcast titles from Japan in the upcoming season, reinforcing its commitment to delivering fresh and diverse content to its growing international audience.
