Meta Platforms Inc., the owner of widely used social media platforms Facebook and Instagram, has recently announced financial results that considerably exceeded market forecasts. Despite this strong performance, the company faces ongoing scrutiny and potential legal ramifications concerning the impact of its platforms on young users and issues of social media dependency.
