This follow-up project will see Paramount and Spyglass Media Group collaborating on co-production and co-financing, with Paramount also taking charge of the film's international distribution. Filmmaker Josh Ruben is confirmed to direct 'Heart Eyes 2' and will co-write the screenplay alongside Darcy Fowler. The narrative for the sequel is based on a story by Christopher Landon and Michael Kennedy, who also contributed to the first installment's script with Phillip Murphy. Landon, in collaboration with Divide/Conquer, will serve as a producer for the upcoming movie.
