This ambitious project is a joint venture with Heyday Films, renowned for their work on the Paddington movies, Submarine, and The Astrid Lindgren Company, ensuring a faithful yet fresh interpretation of the beloved character.

Sara Daddy, the accomplished screenwriter, is diligently working on the script for the forthcoming series. Initially, a cinematic adaptation was considered, but the team ultimately decided that a television series would best serve to modernize and retell Pippi's tales for contemporary audiences.
