Matīss Kaža, known for the Oscar-winning 'Flow,' and Daniela Mujica's Productions Ocho have joined the production team for Sofia Carrillo's highly anticipated stop-motion animated feature, 'Insectarium.' This collaboration brings significant international support to the project, which is already backed by 'Roma' producer Pimienta Films and Inicia Films. The film explores a world where insects face extinction, featuring Carrillo's distinctive aesthetic and a narrative linked to her previous work, 'Cerulia.' The new producers contribute substantial funding and expertise, strengthening the film's international co-production framework.
