A New Era of Leadership: Guiding the Future of Live Music Representation

Kevin Shivers Steps Up to Co-President Role

Kevin Shivers has been elevated to the position of co-president within The Team Agency's music group. In this enhanced capacity, Shivers will work in tandem with Lee Anderson, the existing music group president, to shape the organization's overarching global strategy, manage its operations, and foster continuous expansion across all segments of the live music business. This partnership is poised to leverage their combined expertise to achieve new heights in artist representation and industry influence.

Shivers’ Impressive Artist Roster and Industry Pedigree

Shivers brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished client portfolio to his new role. His roster features an array of prominent artists, including Tyler, the Creator, Kid Cudi, Leon Thomas, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Kali Uchis, Vince Staples, Jazmine Sullivan, and the popular media company Crooked Media. Prior to joining Wasserman in early 2025, Shivers dedicated 15 successful years to WME, where he honed his skills and established himself as a respected figure in the music agency landscape.

Lee Anderson Praises Shivers’ Impact and Vision

Lee Anderson expressed profound admiration for Shivers, highlighting his significant contributions since joining the company. Anderson remarked on Shivers' standing as a highly regarded and beloved voice within the industry, noting his immediate positive impact through mentorship, strategic insights, and an unwavering commitment to business improvement. He emphasized Shivers' rare blend of intuition, practical experience, selflessness, and integrity, identifying him as the ideal leader to steer the group forward into its next phase of growth.

Shivers’ Vision for Collaborative Success and Future Growth

Shivers himself shared his enthusiasm for the new role, expressing immense pride in the collective achievements of the team and gratitude for the opportunity to step into leadership during such a pivotal time. He attributed the agency's unique strength to its people — their dedication, ambition, and mutual trust. Shivers conveyed his excitement about continuing to build upon this foundation alongside his colleagues and clients worldwide, signaling a future focused on collaborative success and sustained expansion.

The Team Agency: Navigating Challenges and Embracing a New Identity

The Team Agency represents the rebranded entity of what was formerly Wasserman's music agency. This transition followed Casey Wasserman's initial acquisition of Paradigm's music agency in 2021 and subsequent agreement to sell it earlier this year amidst controversies surrounding his association with the Epstein files and communications with Ghislaine Maxwell. Despite these past challenges, the company has largely stabilized and returned to its core business operations. It currently boasts the representation of more artists at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo in 2026 than any other agency, demonstrating its resilient market position and continued dominance in the live music event space.
