Engage Snaf in conversation, inquiring if there's anything you can assist him with. He will then entrust you with his new recipe, requesting you gather three bugmeats and five hellcaps to complete it.

Acquiring bugmeat is a straightforward process: you must eliminate three meatbugs. From Snaf's position, follow the path to your left, circulating the Old Camp's central castle in a clockwise direction. Shortly after passing the arena where fights are held, you will encounter a wall featuring a ladder on your left. The three meatbugs you need will be scuttling across the road in this vicinity. Simply step on them to dispatch them and collect their meat. Should you require additional bugmeat, explore damp, secluded areas such as caves. Two such locations are found south of the Exchange Place, another pair behind Cavalorn's hut (located to the west of the Old Camp), and one more along the route to the New Camp.

For the hellcaps, exit the Old Camp via the northern route and cross the stone bridge. Continue along the path that leads into the forest. Exercise caution and remain on the designated path to avoid attracting unwanted attention from scavengers. Directly in front of the initial large rock formation, on the left side of the road, you will discover a cluster of five hellcaps encircling the base of a tree. While more hellcaps are scattered deeper within the forest, this particular spot offers the most convenient way to gather all five required for Snaf's recipe.

Upon successfully gathering the three bugmeats and five hellcaps, return to Snaf to deliver the ingredients.
